Living near Hollywood, Danny has been influenced by the big screen. While his art has found it's way into many pictures in two cases the movie features his art in the plot line. Scroll down to see Danny on the big screen. We will start with recent projects.

Danny's latest work is on a set for the not yet released movie Sandcastles staring Ed Asner. This is a moving story about a grandfather realizing his mortality, teaching his grandson about letting go by building sandcastles and letting the sea take them away. Danny was brought in to design and construct the sandcastles and his carvings are used a props throughout the picture.

In Mission Impossible 3 (MI3) Tom Cruise gets to go at high speed under a tanker truck. Danny worked with the production company creating the fake storage boxes shown on the tanker truck. They are made of crash foam and although they look tough they are actually very fragile and will fall apart with the slightest hit.

In Giddeon Christopher Lambert and Charlton Hesston are both carvers. For this movie Danny created the same carvings in mutable stages of completion. This allowed the actors to appear to slowly complete the carvings throughout the movie.

Other movies Danny's work has appeared in is Space Cowboys, and Danny has personally appeared in a Public Enemy and Flavor Flave videos.
