Can you tell the original from the copy? Neither could the client who was restoring an old bank building in LA. Danny carved a copy without the damage and created a mold so the client could restore all the columns. By this process the client was able to keep the historic feel of the building at a reasonable price. |
The Art of DannyClark |
Some of Danny's creativity is expressed through custom works and other works come from his hyperactive creativity. For his custom projects clients approach him with an idea and Danny then sketches it for them. When the client likes the direction of the project, he then creates the art for them. This can include small things like knifes and peace pipes, up to furniture and totem poles, and even complete old west towns. Enjoy browsing the works. If you would like a custom work for yourself please contact us at info@danyclark.net . |
These are some fun lamps Danny calls Magic Mushrooms. The idea for the mushroom lamp came to Danny while summering in Brandon Oregon where mushrooms grow everywhere. The mushrooms that Danny produced have become very collectable. |
Neptunes Rage came into existence while Danny was out collecting drift wood and had another one of his visions. He grabbed the wood and started carving what would become the first StumpMan sculpture. If you are ever in Bandon Oregon go to the river walk and you can see the original as well as many more of Danny's wood carvings. |
What do you get when you put a hyper creative artist, an old hollow log, and a carving knife together? You get a clock with a owl who's head moves. Hinges that look like leaves and are completely made out of wood. Latches that are held in place by a carved green worm. With carved leaves that look so real that people ask how they were hardened. This clock is a one of a kind and it is available at this time. |
What do your guest see when they enter your house? This customer has bears, vultures, mushrooms, eagles, salmon, and even Bevis and Buthead by request! All this and a mountain with running river to put it all in! This is a true creation and definitely a piece of art to began the conversation of the night. |
